The upsells that are easiest to say yes to
A guest who's already booked a room is the easiest upsell conversation you'll have. They've already decided to stay. The question is just whether anyone asks them, at the right moment, before check-in, while it's still useful to say yes.
Most independent motels don't ask, not because the upside isn't real, but because there's no one available to text every arriving guest individually in the day or two before they show up. This is built to do exactly that one, small, well-timed offer, automatically.
The three offers, and what triggers each one
Every offer type defaults off. You turn on the ones you want and set your own price; Suzy never invents a price or offers something you haven't enabled.
Early check-in
Time-sensitiveOffered in the window 4 to 30 hours before a guest's check-in time, and only if Guest Reservations shows no known conflict with the room still being occupied. If the data doesn't show a conflict, it's treated as available, never blocked on a guess.
Room upgrade
EvergreenAvailable any time in the 48 hours before arrival once you've set a price above $0. Not time-boxed the way early check-in is, since a better room doesn't depend on when the current occupant leaves.
Guaranteed late checkout
Reserved in advanceA late checkout the guest pays to reserve ahead of time, instead of asking at the front desk and hoping. Defaults to $25 once enabled, and you can set your own price.
Honest status
The offer logic, the payment link, and the quiet-hours and opt-out gating are all built and tested. What's still pending: the text carrying the offer goes out over SMS, and outbound US SMS is waiting on A2P 10DLC carrier registration, the same status every other SMS feature on this site is honest about. A guest never receives more than one pre-arrival offer, and every send checks the same guardrails as any other outbound text: the property's kill switch, the guest's opt-out status, and TCPA quiet hours.
What you control
Every offer type, and its price, lives in your property settings. Nothing is priced or enabled for you. If you only want to offer guaranteed late checkout and leave room upgrades off, that's a one-toggle decision, not a support ticket.
A guest who accepts pays through a real, direct payment link, the same text-to-pay mechanism used for other guest charges on this site, not a manual invoice you have to chase down.
